What are the BLUE "Q".

Post by wanderinstar »

Can anyone help me. What are the blue "Q's" with a question mark in them that appear below the Signature line. Are they possibly the moving pictures that are starting to become popular on here.
Second Question is how does one view them?

If as I suspect they are something to do with Quicktime, I have tried to view them but Firefox says it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Can you give an example of somebody whose signature has one of these on it?

Thank you Alex for taking up the gauntlet.
It has just taken me 10 minutes to find this again, typical.

Ian, a while ago the forum was awash with these scrolling flashing pics, cannot remember who, but a web address was posted to block these annoying images, unless you actually click on them. However I just have a blue 'f' some might be barking up the wrong tree. Blue Q is normally Quicktime. I use Firefox and have similar probs viewing Quicktime items. :D

That's one of the annoying scrolly flash things from Photobucket. If you want to see them then you may need to install the latest Flash player plugin. If you then want to get rid of them again, try FlashBlock.

The moving/flashing pictures are indeed ultra annoying - can we not all agree to just not use them ?
