Hi all,
Just bought the Super Pro spray gun from the above, the £33 one, to spray the Morris. Now the second time I come to use it whatever I do I cannot get a continuos feed of paint to come from it. The paint comes in roughly 1 second bursts every other second. Whatever the settings are I cannot get a steaty supply of paint. I think the first timeI used it it was OK but I only sprayed a very smal area in very badlight.
If I turn the air pressure up and the paint feed right up the gun actualy pulses as the paint stops and starts. I have tried taking the cupfrom the gun and putting the feed tube in the paint, no difference.
I then cleaned the gun and tried it with water, exactley the same thing. I put the whole gun under water except the nozzle, same thing, at all settings.
Before I take it back is there any thing I am missing? Is this fault a syptom of a known fault? I am sure the gun is clean and assembled properly. The paint I was using was U-POL U88 thinned about 30%, but as I said the result was the same using water.
Thanks in advance,
Steve
