I'm not sure yet - fixing brakes just now, and weather dependant as it's about 120 miles from me.
I'm definately going to Fyvie on the 17th though.

I'm going, but not in the Minor (friend said he'd tow it there just so that it could make an appearance, but that sounded too depressing!)

No-one else going then ?? There's a surprise! And trust the Scottish branch to arrange their meeting to clash with the excellent event at Thirlestane Castle at Lauder in the Borders. I bet there will be far more Minors (and many many other interesting cars) at that event than there will be at Kilmarnock!

A nice round dozen Minors at Thirlestane - why didn't the Scottish branch just go there - plenty of room - and it's an excellent run down to the borders on nice quiet roads! Weather was warm and dry - v slight drizzle at one point - good autojumble too!

I went along yesterday to my first ever Morris Minor rally. It was great to see so many cars and have a chat with the owners. Everyone I met was very nice and very willing to share info about their cars and how to do things.
The photos look great. Pity about the weather! It was still a good day out. Looking forward to the next one. Where do you get info about any others in Scotland?
Rog.

There is one in Fyvie (Scottish North East Morris Minor Club) on the 17th of this month.
Fyvie is about 20 miles north of Aberdeen - a good day out.

Well done indeed getting so many Minors in the one place - on such a miserable day. I'm truly amazed - because so few Scots use this forum ! I will be at Eglinton but only in my Minor if it's wet - otherwise I now have a TR7 for sunny days!

I'll second that, a truly magnificent effort.

Oh the car is fine in the wet - I just don't want to get it wet! Drew much attention at Thirlestane - many folks came to admire/comment on previous ownership etc etc. Fast appreciating classic - very much better value than MGB for example - and has room for my 6'1" frame.
