Hi all. With my new seats in, I am now looking for a steering wheel with a thicker rim. No particular ideas on style etc although I don't really want one of those tiny jobs. Is there a generally accepted make of type that is used? Would/does it require a boss to be used or made up? Thanks.

There are absolutely LOADS of after market steering wheels available, because the Minor's steering hub is the same as the Minis.
Thanks to the Mini's rallying heritage and the fact that a lot of them are owned by boy racers, there are loads about.
How about getting a nice '60s rally style wood rim wheel??
Try Minisport, Minispares, or Cooper garages (if you have lots of cash!!)

Cheers Cam,
Is the hornpush the same as well?

Not 100% sure about that one, as I have never tried one with a hornpush! I would assume so, but best to check first.
If not, you could always fit an earlier hornpush style stalk to the steering column.

We're out at the weekend so I can ask the traders. As the car will be with me, I can pop the wheel centre off to check for fit too. It would be better for me as I kinda prefer the green light winking away on the indicator stalk !!
