i see they do 2 dif sizes for the refurb kit how do you know which ones which?????????

The bore size is normally cast onto the side of the master cylinder.

True enough but never assume. I believe only one size was widely available for some time so it's fair to say there are a few cars out there with wrong size replacements.

The best way to tell is to remove the piston - you have to do this anyway to fit the new seals.
If you find the bore is rusted, then you've saved the price of a seal kit (although you'll need to put that money towards a new m/c)
When the car was in production, they had different markings on the outside of the casting to show the bore size, however for at least the last 10 years, they just used the same casting for all spares, so you are taking a risk if you rely on the number on the outside.
