Hi,

here I am, as usual, with my quite silly questions... :D

Well, I have no enough material about Morris to refer to, at the moment, so here I am to bother.

1) What material is the axle case built with??

2) I have to take off the horrible telescopic stay for the boot. I have seen on a spares catalogue that there are two solution. A simple stick and a telescopic stay. I believe that for my 1957 Morris the stick should be the right one but...where does it point the boot? Does someone of you have maybe a pic that shows how it works?

Thanks as usual.

Ciao,
Luca

Luca, have e mailed three pics of the boot, let me know
that you received them ok. The disadvantage of this
early stay arrangement is that the wind can blow the boot
lid up so that it hits the roof!! That is why it was changed.

I quite like having the stick to hold the bootlid up. 'tis very quaint - especially when the bonnet is self-supporting!
