Come on folks the sun is shining :D .

Otherwise we will organise one in the south again and get in trouble for being too south centred!! :D

You might as well go ahead Roger  No one up here seems bothered , I've given up trying in this area, we all could have had a nice camping weekend and show this coming weekend but....
I'll be there at the show anyway, and so will about 1000 other classics

I know Roger I've been looking forward to getting together as I missed the last web rally :( I could look into organising something centralish if people still want to get together. Maybe the Coventry Transport museum or somewhere similar.

that would be good or how about the national heritage motor museum, that reopens in June after a major redevelopment of the exhibition halls. They have go karts too ;-)

Only problem now is that all the branch rallys are starting to kick off about now

The only problem with having it at Gaydon is the cost, it's quite expensive to get in but I wouldn't mind sweet talking them into letting us have a discounted rally there next year for the 50th :P I'll make a few calls and see what I can sort out ;)

If I can sort one out soon I'd try and miss a branch rally or if thats not possible then we could congregate at a nearby branch rally then run convoy to a museum. How does that sound?

Sorry Roger, in fact it was me, I was trying to organise one based around the Cotswolds but got a little (more than a little actually) behind with my plans

Could have had a three dayer this coming weekend, camping at £5 per night in lovely North Yorkshire with a massive show & autojumble thrown in for free, but no one was bothered

I'm very surprised to hear that  I've offered for the last two years to organise the same thing, which is held twice yearly, May & early Oct. and there are several threads somewhere in the topic section for this... I did offer again this year but no takers .... must admit I find it strange :-?
The venue is next door to a wonderful stateley home, another within 8 mile, two large theme parks nearby, local mid-size brewery not far ( open for viewing etc; ) if that don't help.. I have organised club runs in the past over some wonderful countryside, visiting one of two motor museums, wartime camps, and a run on the steam trains of North Yorkshire moors railway(Pickering to Whitby), passing through Heartbeat.. and if that wasn't enough a big classic show thrown in
Ah well... sorry.. rant over   I'll be there this Sunday anyway, along with another 1000 cars
