just out of interest how on earth do u get the exhaust off a saloon

i've just bought another and the exhaust was hanging so i had to remove it before i couyld tow it with my A frame.

we tried to give it a nice cut and then i could weld it afterwards but nooooooooo such luck with only a junior hacksaw that cost him £1

so in the end we just bent it up and manged to get it out that way i'm not too worried as i have a spare behind the shed stainless at that :D

but it just wondered my lil old brain how to get them off and more the pooint back on again there's got to be an easy way lol

I tend to put the front wheels on ramps and strap them tightly to the ramps, jack the rear end up from the diff and put my axle stands under the front spring hangers. Let the jack down and the axle drops enough to wiggle the exhaust over the top. To re-fit slide the tailpipe over the axle from the front passenger side and carefully wiggle it over the top, with the axle being so low then there should be enough slack to get the flange through the hole in the side of the engine bay and up into place. Hope thats a help, if not gimme a shout and I'll pop up and give you a hand and I'm only down the road.
