Gassless mig welding

I have been happily welding the driver's side sill on my 2 door for the last few days. There's always more to do than you think. Yesterday I ran out of wire, I bought a new roll and fitted it. Now I cant weld properly, spatter eveywhere, no penetration on low power, big holes on high power. Any suggestions?

one question does your machine work with gasless wire/non gas?....if it does then you need to turn the connection around ie the neg and torch

Did you get gasless wire? If it is ordinary mig wire, it dont work.

Hi, the mig unit is exclusively gassless, the wire is the flux cored stuff too.
I'm currently stumped. I even replaced the sleeve, tip and shroud. Did't help though. :x

Make sure you have a good earth connection.
