suppliers again

well decided to do the clutch relay linkageyesterday.prob not touched since 1965
so bought the kit from and guess what, you get everything except new washers and one split pin missing.
well i i can hear you all say, well you can get washers and split pins anywhere, yes i know, but the point is this is supposed to be a kit, so come on suppliers give us a full kit at least.

now have super smooth clutch pedal

I'm always dissapointed they dont include tea bags.

was fitting a new exhaust today
it was made by falcon, i found the manifold length to clear through the engine bay needed really to be 8mm shorter, the flange around the top where the manifold sits in had to be filed ( soft stainless steel) as it was to big., otherwise it fouls the lower body work, i fitted it and put a trolley jack underneath the exhaust and was able to bend it slightly to clear the body work netter
and was not flared from one peice but a wider diameter peice welded on, the same with the other end
also the angle is not quite right for the manifold to sit in the flange nice
trouble is makes an 2 hours job nearly 5 hours
i used to use walkers stainless steel exhaust before and they fitted perfectly
so going to see if i can find a supplier who sells walkers ones

surely we should be able to fit the exhaust quite easy without all the faffle that goes with it

so wibble thers another one to add to your list for the working party
