Like most every thing else, it took longer than expected, but it's ready to roll now. New brakes with springs relocated a tad further away from the hubs to clear the new double bearings, new super half-shafts, new 3.7:1 diff, and new leaf springs. So far I've only taken her around the block. The 3.7 diff is nice, and I don't feel like I have to baby it anymore due to the weak rear end.

it lasted less than 1 week!

Well,
the dual bearing kit is a bit more of a trick to install than I thought it would be. The instructions tell you to fit the seal backwards due to very limited clearence, now it's leaking. My brand new brakes are covered with gear oil. Anyone have experience with these hubs? I am considering going back to the stock hubs, but part of the process involved removing the oil slingers from the backing plates. :( Advice please!

Not come across one of these before, is it for a standard axle or do you have something different fitted.

It's the standard axle. Here's a link to it: http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/WC160 ... Detail.cfm

Just received the new seals. Looks like there is enough room for them to go the right way around, so I will try it that way. I am getting pretty good at R&Ring rear hubs! :)

shes back on her feet now. Haven't driven her yet. I found I had a rotted tire valve stem so had to get the fixed today. I will be driving her tomorrow. so far there are no oil spots!
