headlight wiring

Post by Relfy »

Oops. I did a silly thing. When changing my headlight I just pulled it out and thought the wiring loom would follow, which it did, except now I dont know which wire goes where. I can only find two spade connectors that look like likely suspects... but what next?

MOT next weekend... :o

headlights

The headlight main beam leads are blue/white. The dipped beams are
blue/red. There should be no confusion since the connector will only fit one way round (it should have three connections on it )

TWO spade connectors? The block the bulb (or sealed beam unit) plugs into has THREE FEMALE connectors and the other ends of two of those are BULLETS so I think you've got a more serious problem than you think...

...its ok.... after a few days I had the bright idea of looking at the other one! lol.

I must be being particularly, outstandingly, dappy at the moment as I was convinced the MOT was last week, I booked it in and they started it, and THEN I looked out the old certificate and its not, its august.
