I've been looking around here - http://www.ozrodders.com/board/index.php - and found lots of mentions of a "dead pearch" or "dead perch". I've deduced that it's something that does the same sort of job as a panhard rod, but WHAT IS IT? Help please - Scott?

Thank you! I googled, but forgot that I could exclude 'fish' from the search. A kind of half panhard rod, then :D
