right i've been scouring these posts with regards to seats.
mine are shot completely one black from some other car and one rubbishy blue one.
i have a traveller i see from someone's post that the nova fits nearly straight in.

has anyone any more info one this and can the fabric be nicked off the back seat to cover the traveller rear seats or does anyone have any better ideas.

please don't post keep original as they aren't already and personly i think they are so uncomfortable as i'm quite slim and don't have any padding on my behind like some people lol

any help on this would be great thankyou.

i'm on a very tight budget so free things or very cheap conversions are a reall buzz.

If you're prepared to make bases then practically any seats will fit, as long as they can be moved for rear seat access.

Within our little local group we have one car with MX5 seats, one with Triumph and I have some MG Metro seats to go in at some point.

The MX5 seats are wonderfully comfortable, a nice and narrow too. I'd get some if I could find some at a reasonable price.

Just remember that most newer seats will be thicker, thus reducing rear legroom.

I've seen some MX-5 seats with speakers in the head rests too, which is quite a nice feature.

Absolutely. It would mean I wouldn't have to find somewhere in the car to put speakers. I have mountings for two 10" drivers in the back of the rear seat, and combining those with the headrest speakers would be great.

Paulk's seats have them and I tried to find some seats for ages. Haven't found any at affordable prices but if I do then the MG Metro seats I have will go.

Mx'5 Seats are great, If a little thin across the shoulders for this well fed Hampshire lad.

THey are nice and firm while at the same time comfortable. Speakers also make a nice extra so no big holes needed elsewhere. Mine are Black so would easily fit in with a black trimmed car. I'm lucky in that mine were free (cheers Carlo ) but they do come up on Ebay occasionally.
I made up a new frame for them to sit on but you do still lose some rear legroom.
