folding seats on 4-door saloon?

Hi,

I've noticed that the back of the frames supporting my front seats are not attached to the floor (there are no mounting points on the floor either), hence the seats can tilt forward as you would expect on a 2-door car. Is this standard mounting?

Also what is the best way to raise the seat base to get better visibility whilst driving?

Regards,

yes this is standard for the saloons. you can screw some rubber or wood supports onto the back "legs" of the seat to lift it up slightly.

Some of the specialists sell rubber blocks that have different postions for raising the back of the front seats and they just clip into place.

If you find your sitting too low its usually because the webbing straps under the seat have stretched. I replaced them with a rubber diaphram from one of the big suppliers and moved up in the world!!

Actually I only posted because this my 1000th post :D
