Trafficators

I have a pair of trafficators attached to the car, but they are just for show; all they do is go"clunk" when I turn corners. Is it possible to get them working alongside the conventional indicators that the car now has? And is it worth it? Might be a job for the Summer.

It depends on how your indicators are connected.
Does the green light on the stalk flash or stay on when you indicate.
If its constant you should be able to pick up the green and white and green and red wires and feed them back to the trafficators.
However if the indicators have been converted so that the green lamp flashes you will need some electronics to give a constant feed to the traffies.

It can be done I'm going to have a box with switches so that I can select Trafficators or Indicators or both with the option of hazard warnings as well. Mine is the easy one where the green light is constant so all I needed to do was provide two relays to split the supply through a flasher unit to the indicators.

lol.. I can just imagine having them off the flasher unit... flags waving frantically up and down.
Hazards would be a sight to see!
