I got it through customs inspection this morning, and all clear for it to board the container this afternoon. I will be Moggyless until 29th March when i pick it up in Orlando.
I hope everyone keeps in touch.

Did you have to drain off the petrol - and remove (or disconnect) the battery?

petrol had to be at 1/2 tank. battery diconnected with neg and pos tags on the cables. spotlessly cleaned. hubcaps/mirrors in box inside.

Good luck - hopefully in a few years' time mine will be making the trip across the water, although the entry requirements for vehicles to Canada are shockingly strict!

What's so strict about Canada? Certainly there is an excellent Classic British Car show in Victoria (Vancouver Island) in June each year.
