Traveller wood glue

I am replacing the foot rail on my Traveller.
What's the consensus on the best glue to use?
I'm going to try an MS polymer eg Everbild "Stixall" which is used in the building industry and acts both as a sealant and a glue and allows flexibilty.
It would appear to be the ideal solution for Trav woodwork!
Cheers all

Sorry but I don't know, but you could try asking one of the specialist wood places?
Traveller Timbers
Woodies
May be worth a short e-mail or phone call to them sure they would be happy to answer that question

Hi MIllerman - Im going to use Cascamite when replacing some of the wood on my Traveller - Ive read in a few places that this is thought the best and i think Steve Foreman at Woodies uses this too.

I've worked on vintage aircraft before, the wood & fabric variety. The glues used there are immensely strong and allow flexing without cracking, and are also waterproof. There is a glue (or there was!) called "Aerodux", very good gap filling qualities, but is a dark oxblood colour. It comes as a stiff treacly substance which is mixed with a catalyst.
The other commonly used adhesive is a powdered glue called aerolite, which is mixed with an acidic catalyst - stings like *!"@~#!!! if you get it in a cut! Worth searching google for suppliers maybe?
The downside is that it is likely to be fiendishly expensive, as is anything to do with the aviation fraternity!
