Just bumping this to the top again.
This group needs both support and ideas from as many folk as possible. Its important in shaping customer/trade relations for the future, so please try to give this the prominance it deserves and attend. Many on this messageboard have been very vocal about the aspects of service from the trade, and this is the ideal opportunity to make a positive contribution

This well could be my last hoorah,
The working Party will be an ongoing one and will probably last the best part of a year as there are many issues and concerns to be discussed so it will involve more than just a visit I`m afraid.

Soprry I wont be there Jonathon but as I explained to Andrew (not big ginge) I am involved with the branches Ally Pally preparations so cant make it.

I'd like to come but I'll have to see what time I get back from picking another Minor up :P I might just pull up with it strapped to the trailer

What are you growing Onne. Wings or something else. If you have any seeds for front wings for a 1098 could you let me have one or two.

I can't be there as I am reliant on lifts to travel that far - but I wish there was a way to be involved, as I am one of those who feel strongly (though I haven't spoken much about it) about this issue. :)

(If there were anyone from sussex going then I'd love to hop aboard! :D )

Well there were only 5 present I'm afraid, not really enough in my opinion, but hopefully more can attend the next. Its still early days but the greater imput of ideas the better, and the meetings are open to all members. Both of the issues we are addressing are vitally important to both club members and traders and will involve significant input and resources from the club in order to run the schemes.

For those who are interested, the next meeting is provisionally arranged for 14th April - put it in your diaries now. Those of us who were there have gone away with tasks to report back at the next meeting. I'm sure that Jonathan and Nigel will join Angela and me in thanking Andrew (S) for arranging the facilities and guiding us through a most useful initial session. We'll look forward to seeing more folks next time.

I'm interested and might conceivably be able to make it - especially if there is anyone else going from Sussex who could give me a lift. :D

Have a look at www.trustmygarage.co.uk If the Minor garages appear on there - then it's easy to leave feedback! And to read others experiences.

Nice idea, but I have just punched in my post code and none of the garages on 8 pages have a rating against them, also I say a dozen of them should be given a very wide birth, and the information is about 4 years out of date, as several garages are no longer in business or have changed location.
