Waxoyl kit

Post by les »

Something that might be of interest. I had a successful day today doing a job that is usually a nightmare, it was Waxoyling the van chassis, It was made bearable by using an SG18 wax injection kit from Sealey. This consists of a sturdy gun, with 1/4 bsp connection, an equally tough container and a couple of lengthy probes with a machined end nozzle that gives a uniform spray pattern, unlike the poor offering from the Waxoyl kit that uses a plastic pipe with literally a nail with the shaft hammered flat, pushed into the end of the pipe. The Sealey kit is not cheap but makes the job almost enjoyable.

Yes- agreed much better than the waxoyl pump- I've found success with a Schutz gun- they come with an extension probe.

Can get one from Shiremoor compressors or Machine mart. You need a compressor as well.
