Hi,
How difficult would it be to fit a reverse light on a 1970 moggy? Is there a place on the gearbox where a switch would fit that would be activated when the reverse gear is engaged?
Regards,
Pascal

Some people install a manually-switched light. Easiest way to do it, but you must have a telltale light on the dashboard as showing a white to the rear while travelling forward is illegal.
I'm getting one of these, as it looks like it might have been original in a way the plastic-bodied one doesn't.
My new gearbox has a switch already on it so I'm sorry but I can't help with that part of your problem.

Pascal, if you can get hold of the remote from a 1275 spridget gearbox, (or even the whole gearbox itself) its a straight swap for the remote on the minor gearbox but has a reverse light switch
hope that helps.
I 1275 spridget have a remote that i might be willing to dispose of but it doesnt have the switch, but does have the previson for it
