Depends what kind of statistics you want - according to the governmentalists there are 'millions of cars 'on the road without road tax or insurance'. Needless to say, most of these are in garages and on driveways awaiting being fixed etc...
In which case, the government numbers of Minors 'on the road' is probably triple the real number.
The real number is not easy to find and depends on what you class as 'on the road' (ie not sitting on a driveway with no MOT) but in the UK is probably around 15K to 20K

Thanks Ray. This is going to be a quiz question, so to be more specific, how many minors are legitimately still on the road in the UK? :D

One Minor on the road, two in the back garden!

I would like to know the total as much as Lou does - but only the DVLA could say for a fact how many are registered for road use on any given date. The MMOC asks people to state how many cars they have, but I'm sure some people don't fill the form in and return it. And of course some Minor owners aren't even in the club.

5, as you know - 3 being worked on (slowly) and 2 which have met the need for parts. Just thought that I'd show off :D

I've just got 1 on the road at the moment.
2 in the back garden awaiting TLC, so that's 10 on the road so far...

Guys, this is sooo helpful :o :D So far the answer appears to be 'at least ten'. Except I forgot to include Bert, so that's eleven...

So, quiz nite at the Chertsey Branch in March - the judge's decision is final :D

Shame the newsreaders and weather man had to slag the cars off- dodgy fuel pumps and brakes they mentioned (not true, IMHOAE). And the first car shown was an Oxford, not a Minor :o
Cheers John - all comments IMHO
