I shall be removing what is left of the hinge panel,sills and inner arches very soon. Does abnyone have a good cut through diagram that shows what metal should be there and what connects where...

Generally everything connects to everything else inside the sills and at the bottom of the hinge pillars.

I'm sure someone will be along sooner or later with a nice line drawing - I've seen a few of them over the years (it's just a matter of finding them)
