Hello,

What is involved in upgrading from a 948cc to a 1098cc engine?

Is it just a matter of swapping the engine or should the gearbox, diff and speedo by ugraded as well?

If you want to use the larger 1098 clutch - then you also need the 1098 gearbox - it's far better anyway! But if happy to take a chance with the 948 smaller clutch - then just swop in the engine. If you want easy cruising - then yes, change the diff and the speedo too. If you want good acceleration - stay with the 948 diff!!
