And before anyone starts saying this is turning into a pc forum

Its the only place that I know that when you ask a question you get a straight answer and not one that baffles you with Bull S**t. And this is my question, my children have given me loads of cd's with photos of my grandchildren and I want to put them onto DVD's so that they will take up less disc's and the problem that I have is that lots of them are saved on the cd's using serif photo plus and some are saved using kodak easyshare and I want to be able to save them all by using kodak easyshare?. I have nero 7 and easyshare on my pc. What would you recommend.

I would reccommend creating a folder on your desk top, then saving all the pictures to that, then using Nero to burn the pictures containing folder to DVD.

Sounds about right to me. What is the file extension on the end of the photos? (its the . followed by three, sometimes 4 letters at the end.) I'm only asking because you mention two specific programs and I am wondering if theres issues with propriatory formats.

There is a free program (freeware) for the PC called iView which is very good at reading different picture formats- and easy to use. If you save all the files to the folder and burn that to DVD, then use iView free ware to view the pictures it should read them all regardless of format.

Not a problem Jimmy as the advice will also apply to those wanting to do a similar thing with their Moggie Photo`s

I think kodak easyshare picture can only be opened using kodak easyshare software so could be problematic.
I'm not sure about Serif photo plus, might be OK.
If you can find software that will convert all the pictures to .jpg format they will be readable on just about anything.

Full of expectation, I clicked the link - wish I hadn't asked now! Think I'll lock myself away in a darkened room and re-invent Cobol!
p.s. gave up reading the link (totally confused) about 1/4 way down the page.
