hello all, I found a bloke near me who used to run a spares/repair shope for Morris's and he has loads of spares in his garage. I am trying to figure out what I need for mine before i immigrate to Florida. any advice/tips would be of use.
I already have:
Thermostat
heater hose
radiator hoses
coil
fuel pump
2 fan belts
2 head gasket kits
2 bottom end gasket kits
set of tappet chest covers & gaskets
just fitted new stainless exhaust
thats what i can think of off the top of my head, but what else should i be looking to collect. after i am done i am gonna post his items on here for him.

I'd say given how common the A series engine seems to be in every continent, stop worrying qwuite so much about engine bits and think more other mechanicals and general bodywork/ trim.
I'd be thinking about spare torsion bars, rear springs, dampers, trunions etc as they're weighty and probably hard to get over there without expensive mail order.

Why not buy all he has, if you intend to keep the Morris, and not sure of availability elsewhere?

I hope your planning is going well for your shift. A word from someone who is sort of in the predicament you will soon be in, ie separated from easy access to parts, think heavy and bulky. Smaller parts are not too much of a problem to get but big and/or heavy parts can be rather costly to ship.
As an example of the supply of smaller parts, two lower trunions took 6 days to get here, NZ, from ESM. All I need now is a dry day to fit them.
