Hi, I am trying to trace my late great grandads 2 door grey Morris Minor registration number 416 CYB and have had no luck.
I have used the rac website, local newspapers, yahoo answers, Tim Lang (local restoration centre), mmoc (just written to minor matters), the DVLA 3 times although i havent got any further.
416 CYB was last seen in Taunton, Somerset in the late 1960's. The DVLA say she is no longer registered.
Does anyone know what else i could try or even how to find what the chassis number was e.t.c.
Merry Christmas & Thankyou
Sarah

That would be very very hard indeed.

If you want to find that car you would need to get at least a chassis no or an engine number to get any further. Do you know any details about the car? Did it have a split front windscreen?
What colour?
The numberplate does tell you that it is indeed a Taunton car, and before 1963.

If the DVLA don't know of the car it is probably no longer in existance

sorry forgot to mention that bit, she was grey and no she didnt have a split screen. She had two doors with a bright red interior, which was very popular at the time.
I unfortunately have no reference to the chassis no or an engine number.
