I don't have a front valance on my Isabel. Would that keep me from passing the MOT?
There are no real sharp edges I'd say.
I think I'll get her for her MOT next week.

My Traveller passed two MOT's with no front valance, so I'd say its ok. If you're worried, you could put a fibreglass one on, temporarily.

They don't fit.
I have an immaculate steel valance, but that is post-54 facelift, with the narrower front panel, so only good for my '56

The only problem I had with no front valance was no where to fit the front number plate! However, with the help of a retired engineer neighbour, who had the stainless steel, we fabricated simple brackets to fix the number plate to some of the bumper bolts.

Just use cable ties - once MOT'd you can sort out at your leisure.
You can get fibreglass bumper valences for the early minors from ESM - good fit and quality - that's what I've got on mine.

Excellent! That will be the way to go then!
