Hi,
my recently bought traveller has chassis no M/AW3 D ...... so the D should be deluxe so it must have windscreen washers right? so y r these absent? :| I mean no holes at all, is it possible these were an option on deluxe too?

What year is yours? My cars haven't got them, but they are splitscreens.
Both Deluxe I think

Thought I'd already posted this, but AFAIK they all had windscreen washers. Could be wrong, but it seems unlikely that they wouldn't, however early.

Mirium (my 54 traveller) has original washers! On a hand pump mounted under the dash

How can you tell they are original Lee? Where are the jets fitted?

I thought deluxe on a Minor meant you had bumper over riders, sun visors and a passenger door lock. Anyone got a copy of "original Morris Minor" to hand?

My 1963 Deluxe Traveller doesn't have a passenger door lock.

I've not seen one with a nearside door lock at all.

The original passenger side door on mine does! Maybe it was an optional extra?

I've heard of them - just not seen them :D I don't remember ever reading that they were part of the D spec either.

I wonder why 4 doors having 4 doors only have 1 door lock, where as 2 doors have a lock on either side. should all travellers not have a lock on either side?

Only the later 2drs have locks on both sides.

My LHD lowlight hasn't even got a lock on the drivers side, just on the passenger side :D

I thought all those luxuries on the Deluxe were so extravagant. Them Rich Folks and their Fancy Specifications!

Us plebs just have to make do :)
