Traveller rear seat headrests

Post by ndevans »

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit headrests to the rear seat of a traveller? They need to be either removeable or in some way adjustable so that the rear seat will still fold forward, and preferably still retain the original rear seat back. Maybe this has already been done-is there anyone out there who knows?

I fitted headrests to the rear seat of my traveller to match the front seats (newton commercials)by screwing on a big timber block to the inside of the rear upper, then pulled the covering back over.
I found the plastic inserts from a Rover (metro) front seat ,are the same as the newton seat to fit into the predrilled holes in the timber block. This gives you the adjustment/removable option and finishes the cuts in the vinal that you have to make in the rear upper.

Fabulous, thanks for that GAS, I will give it a go. I am planning to get Newton Commercial front seats anyway so that sounds like the way to go. Cheers. Neil.
