Hi, I recently posted a topic regarding my minor 1000 and its stuck flywheel.
I went to the car today and now i can get it into neutral. It also goes into gear but when i let the clutch out nothing, the gear stick does jump out it just makes a rattling sound, like the cogs havent connected but they are close. I looked at the cable underneath connected to a rod and this is intact yet the clutch pedal feels "loose" instead of the "tight" feeling.
Hope this all makes some sense!!

Not really - there is no cable !! Have a look again - it should be rods and links all the way. But if the gearbox goes into gear - and yet there is no drive - then sounds like the clutch has broken - maybe the centre has broken out of the disc. However - one check to make - when you do this - in gear with engine running - does the speedometer register a speed reading ? If so - it's probably a broken half-shaft - in the back axle.

You need to go underneath with a light and watch what the clutch linkage does when somebody presses the pedal. If the linkage is obviously working correctly then it's probably an internal fault.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
