Hello can you tell me if Speedo is should be illuminated when lights on? Mine is not

There should be a little slide-switch under the middle of the dash. You might have to use a torch and peer underneath to find it. That switch controls whether the dashboard lights come on with the headlights.

That worked now have lit speedo thanx again...........
