Site virus infection?

Post by Axolotl »

This morning, when I access the MMOC message boards, I'm getting two messages from my antivirus software that the site is infected with "Trojan horse" and "Bloodhound.exploit.83".

My AV software blocks both and prevents any damage to my PC, but other members might not be so well protected.

I think you should maybe do a site scan / detox?

My AV is Norton Internet security 2007.
Cheers, Axolotl.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I am not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant.

Apparently that's a Javascript based IE exploit. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary, but I don't use IE.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Same here , my antivirus is Norton 2003 but updated . My computer quarantines it & then I delete it . It appears to go into temporary internet files ( Cookies ? ) which are not important .
