Anyone have any idea what this would have been off? It has no mixture adjusting nut, but instead mixture is adjusted via the linkage to a screw up by the idle screw.
Thanks

It's an odd-ball - not seen one like that before. Ask Burlen what it's from - does it have a 'tag' anywhere (often under float bowl screw) with a ref number ? Should be ok on a Minor just the same

Thanks for your reply. Burlen don't list it. The tag is AUD 690. I have asked an ex Jaguar employee, not a clue as to its origin. Also I asked a friendly Service Manager at Subaru who used to work for BMC Technical in Australia. He has much experience in things BMC but this was the first time he had seen one like this.
As a matter of interest, the choke linkage moves much more freely than the usual one. It will be going on a minor.

Hello all,
from my Burlen manual, the HS4C has this sort of linkage and an AUD690 was fitted to 1974-75 Chrysler Avengers (1300)

Hello BMCE,
yes, a CUD 1048, designated ACA, no weak or rich option specified.

Isn't it nice to solve a mystery. Thanks for your help. The carb does indeed have an ACA bias type needle. Now to strip it, clean it, and fit it.
