Almost finished fitting new loom...but whats are these?!?!

Okay, got the bit between my teeth this morning and went out to finihs off fitting my new wiring loom to the car.
Its brand new and custom made from Charles Ware, the reason my car came off the road in the first place was because of dodgy wiring.
So, ive got most of it fitted but ive got a few loose ends, excuse the pun! And was wondering if anyone could tell me what they were or why they're not needed.
First up, behind the steering wheel under the dash.

Ive got, 2 read wires feeding back into the loom and connecting thru a double black terminal connector. (seems a bit pointless!)
2 Blue + White, 1 Black, 1 Blue, 1 Blue + red and 2 pink (which are interior lights and a constant 12v feed I think.
Are these extra connections for the dip switch in the floor??

This bits located round behind the speedo.

Ive opted for a started button from a Jag, so have an ignition switch feeding to a starter button. The other wires im sure ive got in the right spot ie the Brown wire and the other white wire. But whats the rather large other White wire for, its not connected to anything.

Ive sourced all of the connections for the back of the speedo unit and fitted them ok but ive the following remaining.

Basically there are 2 green wires that run into a spade connector and I cant see what their for at all. Im guessing that the other connector with the plug (green + brown wire) is for a bulb is for the speedo face light though.
Almost finally is the horn connection.

Ive got the horn switch wire coming out of the loom and this large brown and black wire coming from the indicator stalk loom, im guessing these just push together for the horn circuit though.
Finally. The bulkhead, ive got everything else installed but there are two wires which I cannot find where they go to.

Im guessing they go to the extra wires I found behind the speedo but im not sure, going back to test them. I think the greens might be for the extra two wires behind my speedo and the large white one for the extra wire ive found on my ignition switch...see pics above. But why on earth would they be left loose on a brand new loom, and why would they be put into a loom then not needed?!?!
The loom was made for an early car with flasher type indiacators and a few bits and bobs. I hate wiring and loath electrics....black magic to me. Ive done quite well on my own up untill now, but if anyone could just help me off with these few bits i'd be really thankfull.
