You can buy new bumper irons, but the price varies. As a guide, if it's cheap to buy, it's cheaply made, and will rust in a few months.

Of course, you could get your rechromed, but that may turn out to be more expensive than buying new.

if they are merely dull they can be restored with chrome cleaner. If
they are flaking or rusty you will find that it is definitely more expensive
to have yours re chromed than to buy new ones. Don't forget to buy
new chrome bolts as you will be lucky to remove them without damage,
they are usually so rusty that you have to drill them out or grind the
nuts away.

Interesting comment Gareth! The point about cheap quality and it's parallel counterpart! My bumper nuts have rusted already (3months of being fixed to the bumper) ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annoying isnt it, I did the same new bumper blades and bolts, and in 6months I am fighting the rust around the bolts again!

Anyone know either a good source of bolts, or a sure method of protection? I currently reassmeble the bolts with copper ease on the threads and wax around the heads, still not enough.
