Attaching Traveller rear door seals.

Post by JimK »

The seals are perished on Hermione and water is getting in, so I've got new ones.

What's the best way to attach them? I don't know what to use that will survive the cold and wet and not damage the rubber or the wood.

TIA...

I used contact adhesive, as used for trim etc- the stuff supplied by one of the Moggie parts suppliers. Seems to work for a while (a number of years) and then you might have to stick them back on again, but it at least did not seem to damage either rubber, wood or metal on ym car.
Cheers John - all comments IMHO
