oil pressure guage.

what is the difference between electrical and mechanical versions of these, (apart from the obvious) and which is best to have.
just trying to find out which i should go for.

I'd go for a mechanical gauge, they are more reliable, and also very easy to fit :D

Well, I tend to go for quality. Which tend to be helpful for the first two things :D

I have just bought a Magnolia faced Smiths mechanical oil pressure gauge, which is jolly nice!

it is only cheap if it is good quality other wise it is an expensive lesson :)
where did you get your guage and fittings as you seem happy with it.

Merlin Motorsport at Castle Combe circuit :D

I did pay around £70 for the gauge, including all the bits and bobs, but it looks and feels right.

My car won't be getting her birthday present anymore :D
51 isn't such a landmark age anyway :D
