My 948 has a DM2
I have a spare 25d.

Do you think there is any advantage in fitting either type? They look interchangeable.

the 25 D is only a type, there are so many variations of specification that you may be lucky, but more likely not. If your DM2 is the right specification and in reasonable condition, leave it there.
