What colour?
Hello all, I assumed a Minor I recently bought was Almond green, (it was very badly faded) unfortunatly, when I bought a can of touch up paint, it was nothing like it
. Does anyone know what the other shade of green is called?, and is it available in touch up spray cans? Thank you in anticipation. Sam.

Which Green?
'Original Morris Minor' (Ray Newall) states that Almond green was the only colour available for 1969 saloons. However Connaught Green was probably available as well because it was used on vans and travellers. This is a significantly deeper green, about mid-way between Almond and British Racing green. Does this match your car?
A list of Minor paint codes is here (sadly no samples):

The age of the car can be estimated from the car no. found on the Morris chassis plate on the bulkhead. Early 1969 cars should be numbered around 1,235,000.
