Naadeslaus that's a great photo and a really interesting question.
This bit from Ray Newell's book might help:
"A further unique feature of the GPO mail and engineers' vans was the use of special flashing indicators. Roof-mounted indicators, unflatteringly dubbed 'pigs' ears', were fitted as standard on the last 168 split-screen models, continued on Series III models and were only phased out when separate rear indicator lamps were fitted in addition to the stop/tail lamps on 1098cc models."
I've never seen a photo of these "pigs' ears" indicators but I wonder if that is what you've got?
If it is then hang on to them and write a little article maybe for Morris Minor magazines, cos they are really interesting

they do look period though, and bear in mind that this is perhaps not an Oxford finished car. The cars finished in holland have their own specific features, like thicker glass etc.
