interior mirror removal

my interior mirror is needing a bit of tlc but i'm not sure how to remove it carefully, what's the technique?

The interior mirror is held on with 3 screws, yours should be the later type so the screws are covered by a plastic bit which should (hopefully) slide down the arm revealling the screws.

Provided that you don't drop any of the screws down the demister vent

the cover came off ok but it's turning powdery and has a small hole and a broken edge, are these obtainable or is it a case of finding one from a breaker?, my plastic sucker is missing as well, same question.

Excuse the ignorance, but how is it attached to the car? I've got two splitscreens, so mine are bolted to the central split

no they are not correct for a moris minor.
they have a flat back where it goes on the window frame, the morris is slightly curved for the fixing

cliff it's worth ringing or emailing ESM even if they don't list a part, i got my mirror from them second-hand, you never know
