Hi All, I know that the rear axle, front discs/calipers/pedal-box, from the 1.3 Morris Marina/ Ital, fit the Minor, problem is I can;t find one, but I can get my hands on a a 1.7 Ital. My question is: will these parts from the 1.7 Ital fit?, also do the 1.7 torsion bars fit?,and if they do is there any advantage to be gained?. Many thanks. Sam.

The 1.7 parts should fit, but the engine won't.

The 1.7 axle has the same width as the 1.3 so there should not be a problem. Will probably need Minor perches welding on though. (best to check)

The torsion bars will fit (if you change the rear adjuster for the Marina type), but I think that they only give a slightly harder ride (33% or less I think).
