Front Inner Arches

I have noticed corrosion on my front inner arches in various places. They have been patched in the past (along with the rear part of the inner wing) so I have decided to replace them rather than patching them again.

Does anybody have any tips on the best way to go about removing the inner arches (where to cut first, how much of the arch to leave on the car etc)?

I can remove the rear part of the inner wing first which I think will improve access to a couple of places.

I know that I will need to remove the suspension parts that go through the arch and the brake pipes etc.

Any ideas appreciated. TIA, Aaron.

if you are going to replace them, you need to find the original spot welds, and drill them out. there is a special drill bit for the job. the full arch will come off, leaving a nice surface to weld the new panel to.
