Having just posted a couple of pictures in the "Introducing Benny" thread in the General Discussion section which made Benny look rather good!! - in fact a bit "too good".

I thought I'd better post some of the less flattering piccies - his bodywork is generally good - no visible rust - lots of new metal welded in in 1998, however there are a few woodwork problems:

the n/s waist rail needs new timber scarfed in:

the n/s rear wheel arch needs the lap joint fixing:

the rear doors need replacing (Ive got a replacment pair now):

the whole interior needs replacing:

(looks like the previous owner had a BBQ in the back seat...!

So there are a few jobs to keep me occupied!

Yes, that will keep you occupied for a while!! Unless you have a Catalytic??
converter fitted the 'Unleaded only' sticker is superfluous since leaded fuel
will not harm the unleaded head.

Looks like someone got it too hot whilst welding :)

Nice car.

Looks like the sides could do with a re-varnish/re-stain (whatever was used) to keep them in good nick and door repairs as mentioned. Otherwise, lovely car!
