Just wondered if it is true that series II minors equipped with leather seats had the back side of the front seats in vinyl not leather.

I am trying to get leather seats from a reputable minor trim company and they suggested that the seat is not made entirely from leather.

I find this is very odd, any suggestions?

Normally it was just the facings that were of leather.
