I just bought my first minor, a traveller and I'm sooooo stoked!! I once saw a traveller with additional wood panels in the sides as well. Does anyone know how to do this and would it be considered uncouth to do so?

Well I have seen it done on a Stateside car and on a car in rural Buckinghamshire.
The one I saw over here was a late model in Teal Blue and although it wasnt exactly my cup of tea it was very well done, the 2 alloy panels each side and the 2 in the rear doors had been replaced with some tongue and grooved timber each section around 3" - 4" deep this had been undercut (sorry if thats the wrong term Dennis) to fit snugly with the original timberwork and the all varnished to match on the inside it had been covered with a sheet material possibly a marine ply, to give a smooth finish and I have to confess it was a really well executed job and really looked like it had been done by a carpenter/joiner rather than D.I.Y. unfortunatly I dont think I have a photo.
