My Traveller is currently running on 13 inch Marina 1300 wheels following a disc brake conversion. Does anybody know of a 14 inch steel wheel that will go straight on. Also what difference do 13 inch wheels make to the speedometer reading.

I can't remember now if Marina PCD is 3.75" or 4.5" I suspect 3.75" maybe you could measure it for us?
If it IS 3.75" then not a lot I think. If it's 4.5" then MGB wheels will fit.
Also, it depends on what tyres you have fitted. There are plenty of on-line calculators, but if you let me know the details I can work it out for you.

Marina is the same pcd as:
Triumph (Dolomite, Spitfire, Herald, TR7, NOT Stag 2000)
Maestro
Montego
Quite possibly Rover (ie K series) Metros, but not later ones/ Rover 100
You'll need to be careful with offset as well as pcd though.
As for different rim sizes, it's a matter of the rubber you put on them - As Cam says, there's plenty of online calculaters

Cam,
The PCD is as you suspected 3.75'' The tyres on the car are 165/70/13 on the rear and 155 SR 13 on the front. I know this is OK if they are on the same axle, I think the previous owner must have done it this way because 165’s look as if they may sit proud of the front wings but any comments / advice would be appreciated.

Well compared to 145/80/14 tyres with a rolling radius of 293.8mm your tyres have a rolling radius (at the rear) of 280.6mm.
The differenc ein circumference being -4.49%. So if your speado reads 70 you are travelling at 66.86mph
