As I have both rear wings off at the moment, I thaught it a good time to fit the mudflaps....
er.. any ideas how to do that?! I presume a big chunk of angle Iron is required? Piccies and advice gratefully apreciated!

The successful method I used which lasted for over ten years and is probably
still ok with the new owner was to use a piece of aluminium 1/2" X 1/8" strip
with a right angle bend on one end to be fixed to the rear chassis box section by a self tapper(copiously soaked in Waxoyl). The other end was bonded to the
inside of the wing with fibreglass matting to avoid drilling the wing. Worked a treat!

not so sure I want to bond the wing onto the car? I supose it makes sense to attach both ends of the bracket.

Well, if you don't facy bonding the bracket you will have to drill a hole in the
wing.....your choice.

These just trap mud - and the fixings (if involving drilling) give an additional start for rust. Better without them.
