It must depend upon what you mean by modified. Aon cover all my Minors including disks, 5-speed, new seats, heated screen (front & rear) etc. No problem at all. They were also happy to quote for 1300 cc.

www.confused.com, but not sure if it does classics- it was great for quickly getting quotes for my 944 though, enter details once and I got 30+ quotes.

Yeh, but they're usually miles from any price you'll actually be quoted...

Confused.com is brilliant. I used them last time for my Rover's insurance and it slashed the cheapest price I could find.

Ant, not sure I understood your last statement. The company that confused.com found for me quoted a price and that's exactly what I paid. :-?

I thought you got sorted?

confused.com is great for standard run of the mill stuff (standard modern cars).

well, confused.com cheapest for me was around £1400.

and that is just plain scary compared to the £60 I now pay per annum

Well, Confused for me with Mum & Dad quoted around £1500 minimum.

And we're paying around £700 a year, including extra for paying monthly.
